have at least 3 years of college finished.
Background in camping and working with children.

Aid /CPR Certification, RTE. Salary
varies according to experience.

Enforce all camp rules and procedures
·
Conduct morning line ups and discuss days
activities with counselors and campers
·
You are responsible that counselors follow the schedules
and are following all camp rules and procedures
·
Have weekly meetings with counselor and give
praises when deserved
·
Create a safe environment for campers by
overseeing counselor carry out all of their r responsibilities
·
Set up camp trips, in-camp special activities,
permission slips, recording monies that come in for the trips, attendance. Notify Helen when buses are needed at least 1
week in advance.
Notify the office IMMEDIATELY of any change to the schedules

Write a weekly letter, which will go home every
Friday regarding events that took place during the week and upcoming events for
the following week. Have letter typed
and ready on Thursday for copying

Oversee that counselors take accurate attendance
·
Attendance sheets are kept in the office at all
times, except of course in the morning, where you will collect them and return
them after line up.
·
All
injuries must be logged in a medical log book
·
Campers and Counselors have 3 chances, each
warning is to be noted in the camper/counselor folder and camper’s parents MUST
be notified for each occurrence.
Destruction of
camp property will not be tolerated --- hanging, bending, or climbing trees,
graffiti, and littering makes the camp look dirty and run down. Please be sure this does not happen

Directors are required to stay for after camp
events for their group
